With this tasty combination of flavors that comes from Chicago, this is exactly the light yet full flavor we're looking for today. And fresh from the grill ... heaven!
What You'll Need
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup honey
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons dry sherry or any dry white wine
- 6 garlic cloves, chopped
- 10 to 12 pork chops, cut 1-1/2 inches thick
What to Do
-
In a glass baking dish, make a marinade by combining all ingredients except pork chops. Add pork chops to marinade, coating completely.
-
Cover and refrigerate overnight to "marry" flavors, turning once.
-
Remove chops from marinade and discard remaining marinade
-
Preheat grill. Grill chops about 10 minutes per side or until cooked through. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
Notes
We prefer to use center-cut loin chops for a special meal, but rib chops will work just as well. And if it's not convenient to use the grill, these will cook up just fine in the broiler, too.
