What You'll Need
- 1 (5-ounce) jar processed cheese spread
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon water
- 3 tablespoon jalapeño pepper jelly
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 375 degree F. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cheese spread, butter, flour, and water; mix well.
- Roll the dough between 2 sheets of waxed paper to a 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter and place 1/2 teaspoon of the pepper jelly in the center of each dough circle.
- Fold the dough over to form half circles and pinch to seal the edges. Place on a large baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
- Remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Place in an airtight container until ready to serve.
Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
Notes
If the dough becomes too soft to work with, freeze it for a few minutes till it firms up again.
