Notes
Save yourself some time and effort, and buy cooked, peeled shrimp from the seafood department of your supermarket to make this elegant appetizer even easier. But if you want to save at the checkout, start with 1/3 pound raw shrimp in the shell and boil it yourself? 3 to 5 minutes in boiling salted water will do the trick.

We make something close to this, but we use a jar of cocktail sauce in place of the salsa. It is very good!
