Beefed-Up Spanish Rice

What You'll Need
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef (see Note)
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain or brown rice
- 2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cup salsa
What to Do

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute beef until browned; drain off excess liquid.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender. Serve immediately.
Note
