We hope you've got a big appetite because you're going to gobble this one right up! With both beef and green beans, this is a full meal all wrapped-up into one.
What You'll Need
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, finely chopped, divided
- 1 can (8 ounces) cut green beans, drained and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, divided
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) ready-to-use beef broth
What to Do
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, 1/2 cup onion, the green beans, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix well and form into 6 oval-shaped patties.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and place the remaining chopped onion around the patties.
- Cook for 10 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, beef broth, and remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Add to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
- Serve topped with the sauce.

This turned out great! The only thing I added was some chopped up mushrooms, which I added to the ground beef mixture and then sliced some to add to the gravy. I did double the gravy however so there was plenty for the mashed potatoes. Yes, it is oohh sooo good!
