Easy Pasta Meatballs are definitely not your usual meatballs, but they'll get just as many raves. Try them for a change.
What You'll Need
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pastina, acini de pepe or other small shaped pasta
- 1 pound ground turkey or veal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 1 (28- to 29-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup water
What to Do
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil then coat foil with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except spaghetti sauce and water. Form mixture into 24 golf ball-sized meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for 8 to 10 minutes, or until brown, then immediately spoon them into a 2-quart casserole dish. In another large bowl, combine spaghetti sauce and water; pour over meatballs.
- Cover casserole and bake 30 to 40 minutes, turning meatballs occasionally.
Note
Serve these meatballs as an hors d'oeuvre, or over cooked pasta as a main dish.
