Crispy French-fried onions cook inside these burgers and crown the cheesy mixture that's slathered on top after grilling. Sandwich the bounty in Kaiser rolls for burgers your guests and family won't soon forget. Yum-my!
What You'll Need
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, divided
- 4 teaspoons prepared mustard, divided
- 1 (2.8-ounce) can French-fried onions, divided
- 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (2.5-ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 4 kaiser rolls, toasted
What to Do
- Preheat the grill. Combine ground chuck, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 3 teaspoons mustard, and half of onions. Shape mixture into 4 patties. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat (300 degrees to 350 degrees) about 15 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of 1 patty registers 160 degrees, turning patties once.
- Meanwhile, combine cream cheese, remaining 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, remaining 1 teaspoon mustard, the mushrooms, and parsley. Spread mixture on 1 side of cooked patties. Top with remaining half of onions. Serve on toasted rolls.
