What You'll Need
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 4 doves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 1/2 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
What to Do
- Combine first 4 ingredients; stir garlic butter well.
- Melt 3 tablespoons garlic butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, and cook 6 minutes or until golden. Add mushrooms, and cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until tender. Remove onion mixture from skillet. Set aside.
- Sprinkle steak liberally with salt and pepper. Melt 3 tablespoons garlic butter in skillet over medium-high heat; add steak. Cook 5 minutes or to desired degree of doneness, stirring constantly. Return onion mixture to skillet. Stir in sherry. Cook, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
