These breadsticks are a snap to make and ooh-so-much better than the store-bought variety. They're great served with soup or salad or for just plain snacking!
What You'll Need
- 1 (12-ounce) can buttermilk biscuits
- 1 1/2 cup crisp rice cereal, coarsely crushed
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Cut each biscuit in half. Roll each half into a pencil-thin stick.
- Combine cereal and seasonings in a shallow pan. Brush sticks with milk. Roll sticks in cereal mixture. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
