What You'll Need
- 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg, beaten
What to Do
- Thaw bread dough according to package directions.
- In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Cut dough into 1-inch cubes, dip dough pieces into butter mixture, then layer them in a greased 9- x 5-inch loaf pan. Cover loosely with buttered plastic wrap, buttered side down, and let rise until doubled in size (about 45 minutes to 1 hour).
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. then bake bread 25 minutes, or until top is golden.
- Remove bread from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
Note
Frozen bread dough typically comes 3 to a pack. Why not make all 3 and get 3 times the "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!"?
