Buttery Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream cheese frosting goes great on top of carrot cake, but it can also be used to turn any cake into a flavor spectacular. Our Buttery Cream Cheese Frosting recipe is so good, you'll find yourself using it again and again!
What You'll Need
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cup confectioners' sugar
What to Do

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add the confectioners' sugar, beating for 1 to 2 minutes, or until smooth.

Use immediately, or cover and chill until ready to use. Bring to room temperature before using.
