Barbecued Wing Dings

What You'll Need
- 1 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 4 pound chicken wings or drumettes
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the ketchup, vinegar, and brown sugar; mix well.
- Split the wings at each joint and discard tips; rinse, then pat dry. Add the chicken to the mixture and toss to coat well. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet that has been coated with nonstick vegetable spray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, reserving the sauce for brushing on the chicken before grilling.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Brush chicken with the sauce and grill for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly crisp, turning often to prevent burning.
- Makes about 32 pieces.
Notes
Remember, a dash of hot pepper sauce will certainly add a zing to your wing!
