Our Florida "Champagne" is a smart party drink that calls for its own celebration!
What You'll Need
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups water
- 2 liters ginger ale, chilled, plus extra for ice mold
- Orange slices (optional)
- Maraschino cherries (optional)
- 4 cups cranberry juice, chilled
- 4 cups pineapple juice, chilled
- 2 cups orange juice, chilled
What to Do
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water; boil for 3 minutes, or until syrupy. Chill.
- Meanwhile, combine the extra ginger ale with the orange slices and cherries in a mold; freeze.
- Combine chilled sugar-water mixture and juices in a large punch bowl.
- Before serving, add 2 liters chilled ginger ale and the ice mold (see Note).
Note
As the ice mold melts, the punch keeps its flavor and isn't diluted as it would be with regular ice.
