Frosty Apple Drink

Whether it's spring or fall, this Frosty Apple Drink is sure to wow 'em. Who knew vanilla ice cream and apple cider would be such a classic combination?
What You'll Need
- 1 pint plus 4 to 6 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
- 1 pint chilled apple cider
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, plus extra for garnish, if desired
What to Do
- Allow the pint of ice cream to stand at room temperature until fairly soft. Place in a blender jar and blend. Add the cider gradually and continue blending until thoroughly mixed and frothy. Stir in the nutmeg.
- Pour into tall glasses or mugs and top each serving with a scoop of ice cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg, if you'd like. Serve immediately.
- Makes 4-1/2 cups.
