Whether it's spring or fall, this Frosty Apple Drink is sure to wow 'em. Who knew vanilla ice cream and apple cider would be such a classic combination?

What You'll Need

  • 1 pint plus 4 to 6 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 1 pint chilled apple cider
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, plus extra for garnish, if desired

What to Do

  1. Allow the pint of ice cream to stand at room temperature until fairly soft. Place in a blender jar and blend. Add the cider gradually and continue blending until thoroughly mixed and frothy. Stir in the nutmeg.

  2. Pour into tall glasses or mugs and top each serving with a scoop of ice cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg, if you'd like. Serve immediately.

  3. Makes 4-1/2 cups.
