Patriotic Milk Shakes

To top off our Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day celebration, many of us stop by the local ice cream store for a refreshing cone. But for a change, why not go home for a strawberry milk shake topped with whipped cream and fresh blueberries? How can anybody resist?!
What You'll Need
- 1 quart strawberry ice cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
- 1/4 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries, washed
What to Do

In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, and strawberry preserves. Blend 1 to 2 minutes, or until well combined.

Pour into 4 glasses and top each with a dollop of whipped topping. Top with blueberries and serve immediately.
Notes
You can make a light version by using strawberry non-fat frozen yogurt, low-fat milk, and light whipped topping. We'd say that calls for a real celebration!
