That's a great name, isn't it? If you drink this till the cows come home, oh, you'll be smiling while you wait.

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup (½ pint) heavy cream, well chilled
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons whiskey

What to Do

  1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream, milk, and sugar with an electric beater on high speed until the mixture is foamy.

  2. Add the whiskey and beat for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the mixture is foamy again.

  3. Spoon into individual glasses and serve. Makes about 1 quart.

Notes

Make sure to beat this only until foamy; if you over-beat it, you'll end up with whipped cream! And if you'd like it sweeter, add another tablespoon or two of sugar.
