Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

We add some yummy macadamia nuts into the batter of these homemade chocolate cookies to take them from ordinary to extraordinary. Our Chocolate Macadamia Cookies are sure to be a new cookie jar favorite!
What You'll Need
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 jar (7 ounces) whole macadamia nuts (about 1-1/2 cups)
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and continue beating until creamy.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, beating well. Stir in the macadamia nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cookies are firm. Cool slightly, then remove the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
