After we decide to make these, we're left with one tough decision to tackle: Which part do we like better, the white chocolate chips or the chocolate cookie dough? Now that's a yummy task!
What You'll Need
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tablespoon light cream
- 2 cup (12 ounces) white baking chips
What to Do
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
-
In a large bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside. In another large bowl, with an electric beater, cream together butter and sugars; add vanilla and mix well. Add cocoa and beat until well blended. Add cream and continue beating on low speed while gradually adding flour mixture; beat until mixed. Stir in baking chips. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets; flatten cookies slightly with palm of your hand.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes, until golden around edges; cookies should still feel soft. Do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
