Okay, pinkies up...those teacups are filled with zippy Southern sunshine that'll surely be a hot item at your house.
What You'll Need
- 6 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 tea bags
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 6 cup orange juice
- 1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice
What to Do
- In a large pot, combine the water, sugar, tea bags, and lemon; bring to a boil over medium-high heat and allow to boil for 2 minutes.
- Remove and discard the tea bags. Add the orange juice and pineapple juice and return to a boil.
- Serve hot in individual cups or glasses. Makes about 1 gallon.
Notes
Garnish each serving with an orange slice or a wedge of fresh pineapple.
