What You'll Need

  • 2 apples, cored, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon butter

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a 2-cup microwave-safe baking dish with cooking spray.
     
  2. In a medium bowl, combine apples, 1 teaspoon flour, sugar, and cinnamon; mix well. Spoon into baking dish and cover with wax paper. Microwave on high power 3 to 4 minutes, or until apples are soft.
     
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine remaining flour with oats and brown sugar; mix well. With a fork, blend in butter until crumbly; sprinkle mixture over apples.
     
  4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Serve warm.
