Get ready to take the plunge into decadence, because that's exactly what you can expect when you bite into this Chocolate Plunge! Hold on tight guys, this one is exceptional!
What You'll Need
- 2 cups light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 3 (12-ounce) packages semisweet chocolate chips
What to Do
- Combine corn syrup and whipping cream in a heavy saucepan; bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Add chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Spoon chocolate mixture into a fondue pot or chafing dish. Serve with your favorite dunking morsels (see note)
Notes
The great thing about this chocolate fondue is you can make your own version and dunk almost anything into it. This recipe is perfect with any of the following: pound cake cubes, angel food cake cubes, fruit slices (like apples, pears, pineapples, or bananas), whole small fruits (like cherries, strawberries, or grapes), shortbread cookies, and marshmallows.
