Fruity Egg Nests

What's this about egg nests? That's right, sweet and colorful, they're the perfect addition to any Easter basket - and soon to be everybody's new favorite!
What You'll Need
- 5 cup fruit-flavored multi-grain cereal rings (see Note)
- 2 cup colored miniature marshmallows
- 2 (6-ounce) packages white baking bars
- 2 tablespoon vegetable shortening
- 3/4 cup jelly beans
What to Do

Line a large baking sheet with waxed paper.

In a large bowl, toss together the cereal and marshmallows.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt baking bars and shortening until smooth. Add to cereal mixture, stirring until completely coated.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheet. Press 2 to 3 jelly beans into center of each nest and allow to cool until firm. Serve, or place in an airtight container until ready to serve.
Notes
Any type of colorful sweetened cereal can be used.
