Hot Fudge Sauce

This fudge sauce is so delicious over ice cream that you're gonna find yourself standing in the kitchen in the middle of the night, ready for a fudge sauce fix!
What You'll Need
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 can (5 ounces) evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
What to Do
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat; remove from the heat. Stir in the flour and cocoa until well combined. Add the sugar and evaporated milk; return the saucepan to the heat. Stir constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow the sauce to stand until thickened. Serve warm over ice cream or any other favorite dessert. Cover and chill any leftover sauce in an airtight container.
Makes 1-2/3 cups.
Notes
This will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
