Not only do these taste super, but they're better than the snowballs we make after a new snowfall...'cause we can make them year round!
What You'll Need
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 3/4 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
What to Do
- In a small bowl, combine the walnuts and sprinkles; mix well. Place a scoop of ice cream into the mixture and roll until completely covered, gently pressing the nuts and sprinkles into the ice cream as you roll.
- Place the ice cream ball onto a plate and repeat with the remaining ice cream; freeze for 1 hour, or until firm, then wrap individually in plastic wrap and re-freeze until ready to serve.
- To serve, pour the fudge sauce evenly into 4 dessert bowls and place the ice cream balls in the center of the sauce. Serve immediately.
Notes
Ice cream is a back-to-basics dessert that is truly a favorite of the young and the not-so-young. So if you serve it like this, you're bound to make a big hit!
