Raspberry Sauce
- COOK TIME
- 5 Min
There's a saying that when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade. I agree. And to take that even further, I say that when life gives you raspberries, you've got to make Raspberry Sauce!
What You'll Need
- 1 pint fresh raspberries or 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
What to Do
- In a small saucepan, combine the raspberries and sugar over low heat, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Place the mixture into a blender and blend at high speed until smooth. Serve warm, or chill and serve cold.
Makes 1-1/4 cups.
Notes
You may want to add more or less sugar, depending upon how sweet your raspberries are and how sweet you like your sauce. If you'd prefer a seedless sauce, press the blended sauce through a fine sieve with a wooden spoon to remove the seeds.
