Easy Skillet Lasagna

This recipe comes courtesy of Stephanie from Plain Chicken who says, "This skillet lasagna scores a perfect 10; it is simple, filling and absolutely delicious! You probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry to have this Italian feast on the table inĀ less than 30 minutes."
What You'll Need
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1/2 pound sausage
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 (24-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2/3 cup ricotta cheese
What to Do
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown sausage and ground beef. Drain fat and return meat to skillet.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add spaghetti sauce, basil. mozzarella cheese and ricotta to the meat.
- Stir to combine. Add noodles and stir to coat thoroughly.
- Simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Top with additional cheese if desired.
