Lip Smackin' Spareribs

These Lip Smackin' Spareribs are made South-Carolina special with the help of mustard and molasses. For the tastiest ribs around, whip this up at your next cookout!

What You'll Need

  • 5 pound pork spareribs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon molasses
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon seasoned salt

What to Do

  1. Place spareribs in a large pot and add just enough water to cover them; boil ribs over medium-high heat 30 minutes, or until fork-tender.
     
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
     
  3. Place ribs in a large roasting pan and baste heavily with sauce. Bake 30 minutes, basting occasionally and turning once after 15 minutes. Remove ribs from pan and cut apart every 2 to 3 ribs for easier eating. Serve with remaining sauce.
