Chocolate Mint Sauce
- MAKES
- 3 cups
- COOK TIME
- 5 Min
Chocolate Mint Sauce is one of our favorite decadent dessert recipes that we use for fondue, garnish, and so much more! The hint of mint flavor makes this a great recipe to pull out around Christmas, too. Be creative with where you use this recipe! Drizzle some over croissants in the morning for a dessert-for-breakfast treat or even stir a bit into a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. The possibilities are endless!
What You'll Need
- 1 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 2 (10-ounce) packages chocolate-mint chips (see note)
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows
What to Do
- Heat half-and-half in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Add chips and marshmallows; cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until smooth.
Notes
The combination of mint and chocolate just can't be beat! If chocolate-mint chips aren't available, substitute 1 (24-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips and 1-1/4 teaspoons mint extract. Just remove the chocolate sauce from the heat before stirring in mint extract.
