Easy Beet Horseradish
- MAKES
- 2 cups
Add a little color to your horseradish with beets! Not only do the beets give this sauce a vibrant hue, but their sweet taste help to lessen the intensity of the fresh horseradish.
What You'll Need
- 1 to 1-1/4 pounds fresh horseradish root, peeled and grated (about 2 cups) (see Notes)
- 1 (8-1/4-ounce) can beets, drained
- 1 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
What to Do
- In a food processor, combine horseradish and beets; pulse until you have a grated consistency. Add vinegar, salt, and sugar; mix well.
- Store in an airtight glass container (see Notes), cover, and chill until ready to use.
