What You'll Need
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
What to Do
- Combine butter and brown sugar in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
- Gradually add whipping cream; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat, and cool slightly. Serve warm over ice cream, gingerbread, or pound cake.
