- 10 Min
We call these double dippers 'cause you warm the beef in the broth, then serve the broth along with the sandwiches for dipping. Yes, yes, they're double delicious.
What You'll Need
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 pounds thinly sliced roast beef
- 6 hoagie or hard rolls, split
What to Do
- In a large skillet, combine broth, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook over medium heat just until boiling and stir in roast beef. Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until beef is heated through.
- Use tongs to place beef evenly over rolls and serve with individual bowls of pan drippings for dipping.
Notes
Instead of using roast beef from the deli, you can make it yourself. Old-Fashioned Deli Roast Beef is a quick and easy way to make great-tasting roast beef.
