Bacon Pleasers

Short, simple, and scrumptious-that's the way I describe these nibbles! Only 4 ingredients, but combined, they pack plenty of first-course pleasure.

What You'll Need

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 3/4 cup (7 ounces) shredded Gouda cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 (16-ounce) package cocktail rye bread, lightly toasted

What to Do

  1. Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, and drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon.
     
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine bacon, cheese, and mayonnaise in large bowl. Spread mixture on rye bread slices. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 7 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serve warm.
