We love serving this appetizer recipe up to guests because it just looks so fancy (even though we know how easy it was to make!). By blending together a few seasonings you've got sitting up in your spice cabinet, we've created a five-star taste without all the fuss. You'll be inviting people over all the time with this as your secret weapon!
What You'll Need
- 3 (8-ounce) blocks mozzarella cheese
- 1 (8.5-ounce) jar sun-dried tomatoes, drained and halved
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
What to Do
- Cut blocks of cheese into 1-inch cubes. Arrange cheese cubes and tomato halves in an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Whisk together 1/2 cup olive oil, the chopped parsley, and next 6 ingredients in a small bowl; pour evenly over cheese cubes. Cover and chill at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours.
- Transfer mixture to a serving plate. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig, if desired.
Notes
Spear tomato halves and cheese cubes with short rosemary sprigs. Then drizzle with marinade. Ooh la la!
