Super Bowl Turkey Strips

The super bowl is such a big event . . . why, it's almost like a national holiday! And special times call for special food, so here's a treat that's fit for any special occasion?.It's an automatic party!
What You'll Need
- 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
- 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs or finely crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 pound fresh turkey breast slices, cut into 1-inch strips
- 2 to 4 tablespoons butter, as needed
What to Do
- In a large bowl, combine the biscuit baking mix, cornflake crumbs, chili powder, oregano, and pepper.
- Place the beaten eggs in a shallow dish. Dip the turkey strips into the egg, then into the cornflake crumb mixture to coat.
- In a large skillet, heat the butter and sauté the coated strips over medium-low heat for 6 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
Serve on hot dog rolls with bottled chili sauce or salsa.
