No need to peel an avocado. Just cut it, remove the pit and then scoop out the flesh with a spoon, scraping it down to the shell. No waste.

This absolutely the best recipe I have even tried for guacamole. It tastes exactly like the recipe our favorite Mexican eatery uses and they make it at the table in front of you without telling you the ingredients or amounts. They come with it all pre-measured and basically just mix it in front of you. I have tried repeatedly to get their recipe...to no avail. Not needed anymore...this is as good, if not better. This is one recipe I will not change to make it my "own". It is perfect!

This definitely looks like it'd be quicker to whip together than my made-from-scratch version. It'd be perfect if I was running behind on party prep!

jthelander, this recipe seems like it's from scratch to me. What else do you do that makes your quacamole more complicated? Maybe I've been making it all wrong! This is basically the recipe I use, except I use lime juice instead of lemon juice.
