I love that this is made in the microwave. It looks like it would be really good. And it uses applesauce as a substitute for eggs,so I'm sure it turns out moist. And the lack of eggs makes it a good recipe for a person with allergies or children under two.

I love this mug cinnamon roll recipe. I make it in batches and store in refrigerator when I get that cinnamon craving. Note when the batter is cold, you need to add extra cooking time.

I love mug recipes. I live alone so I don't always want to make a big batch of something. This seems like the perfect way to get a cinnamon roll craving satisfied without tons of fuss!

Any ingredient replacement for applesauce? I don't always have it on hand.

We do not recommend a substitute for the applesauce in this particular recipe, since we haven't tested using substitute ingredients and aren't sure that anything else would work.

From start to eating, this took less than 10 minutes. Loved it! Used butter in place of veg oil. Made half as much icing and still plenty. No other changes. Why change perfection? Easy to make one for everyone. Just watch MW timing. Even safe enough for kids to make.

The recipe is awesome but I cut the sugar down and added more cinnamon (and it still was too sweet!!! That's a SugarBun and no CinnamonBun) As for the icing again CUT the sugar to 2 tablespoon or even less or you can just skip the cinnamon entirely 'cause you can't taste it anyway. Oh, and you can substiute the milk for the icing with 1teaspoon soft butter if you do'nt have any milk and if you have vanilla extract at hand add a bit to the icing (just a few drops) Thanks for the recipe Petra
