I've always wondered what Chicken Divan was and for some reason thought it would be something super fancy like caviar. LOL, but it's nothing at all like I had envisioned. This does sound appetizing but it seems like there would be too much sauce left after baking and that's ok I suppose if it were going over rice, or even grits would be yummy. Personally, I think if you were to stuff the chicken with the ingredients and then dredge it in the crackers...it may be more presentable, but then again it is a casserole isn't it?

This was a very VERY Salty goopy mess ! Made it precisely as written. The amount of sodium in 2 cans of soup is extreme. Add the cheese, and well, it is over the top IMHO. There are much better Divan recipes out there.
