Gumdrop Cookies

These soft, melt-in-your-mouth cookies are full of sweet and chewy gumdrops. Our Gumdrop Cookies are sure to liven up any holiday cookie spread, and bring lots of smiles!
What You'll Need
- 1 (18.5-ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup coarsely chopped gumdrops
What to Do

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat cookie sheets with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oil, and eggs; beat with an electric beater 1 to 2 minutes, until well blended. With a spoon, stir in the chopped gumdrops and drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookies sheets.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until cookies are firm. Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tip
For even more colorful cookies, add additional chopped gumdrops to the tops of the cookies before baking.

Can these be stored in airtight container? How long? I always like to make my cookies about 3 weeks in advance.

Hi there! If you're freezing, you can make these 2 weeks in advance. If you're just putting them in an airtight container, 1 week in advance. Enjoy!

I will try this one, i had the recipe for a cookie that used the spice drops, they were very good.
