No harvest celebration is complete unless dessert is involved. And no matter how you cut 'em, these bars are tops!
What You'll Need
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 package (7-1/2 ounces) almond brickle chips
What to Do
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Press into the baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; mix well and spread evenly over the crust, covering the surface completely.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Allow to cool completely then cut into bars and serve.
Notes
To make these extra sinful, sprinkle 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips over the top immediately after removing them from the oven.
