Peanut Butter Beer Bread adds a new spin on a dessert that can be eaten just about any time of day. Slather on some butter and jam for a taste that can't be beat!
What You'll Need
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter or margerine, melted
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 can (12 oz.) regular beer
What to Do
- In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; blend well. Add butter (or margerine) and peanut butter. Stir in beer until just blended.
- Place mixture in a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf ban. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Serve slices toasted with butter and jam.
