This festive orange 'n' black mini cheesecake recipe is a spooktastic way to celebrate Halloween! Your own little monsters will surely enjoy these creamy treats.

    What You'll Need

    • 24 orange cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (see Note)
    • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup (½ stick) butter, melted
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
    • 3 eggs

    What to Do

    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line 24 regular-sized muffin cups with paper baking cups. Place a cookie in bottom of each paper cup.

    2. In a large bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until creamy. Slowly add sweetened condensed milk then the eggs until thoroughly mixed. Spoon batter into baking cups until almost full.

    3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until set. Cool completely then refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Note

Orange cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies can only be found in stores in the fall, around Halloween.

    Dying to make these!

these look like they are garnished with something on top. i can't tell what it is from the recipe or ingredient list. does anyone know what is on top in the picture?

Hi Rebecca! We just garnished these with orange colored sugar crystals. We've got a great How-To video on how to make colored sugar you should check out! :) Enjoy!

Oh! I thought it was orange zest! I was going to grate a tiny bit to sprinkle on top. I'm so glad you posted it might have been too strong an addition on top.

These were so easy and yummy! Using the other holiday colored cookies is a great idea. I will be making these again for sure!

At Easter use the spring colored cookies, at Christmas use the holiday colored cookies, or use the regular cookies anytime. This is a great recipe. Thanks for it.
