Are the cookies in dough form or baked? and why do they have to be frozen?

Hi there! These are the baked cookies you can often find in the deli section of your local grocery store. You want to freeze them because you're going to be mixing them into the fudge. If they aren't frozen they'll fall apart, instead of being the cookie chunks. Hope that clarifies!
