Blackened Chicken

This "down in the Bayou" easy recipe for Blackened Chicken will be a hit at your table! With just the right amount of spicy heat and juicy texture, it's sure to bring out the Cajun chef in you!
What You'll Need
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon crushed dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
What to Do

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken; mix well. Rub chicken breasts well with seasoning mixture.
- Heat a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add chicken and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until no pink remains. Serve immediately.
