A classic dish that uses a few shortcuts and is ready in minutes. (But it'll take your gang ages to stop raving about it!)
What You'll Need
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 of a medium-sized onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed lobster bisque
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
- 1 1/2 cup cooked skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips (about 1-1/2 chicken breasts)
- 3 cups hot cooked fettuccine (about of a 16-ounce package)
- Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
What to Do
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion in the butter for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the bisque, milk, and 1/4 cup cheese. Bring to a boil; add the chicken. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Add the fettuccine. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly ground pepper, if desired. Serve immediately.
