Garlicky Chicken is a fast and easy entree that will make meal-planning hassle-free. You're gonna love it!
What You'll Need
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 large cloves garlic, minced (see note)
- 1 cup apple juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
What to Do
- Place flour in a shallow dish; dredge chicken in flour. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add chicken and garlic. Cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until chicken is done. Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm.
- Add apple juice, lemon juice, and pepper to skillet; bring mixture to a boil. Boil, uncovered, 4 minutes or until reduced to 1/2 cup. Pour sauce over chicken, and serve immediately.
Notes
Mince fresh garlic for optimal flavor in this recipe. The simpler the recipe, the bigger the difference fresh ingredients make.
