One of my favorite chicken recipes was always Greek Chicken prepared in a skillet. Now that I've discovered Greek Chicken made on the grill, I think I've got a new favorite! What do you think?
What You'll Need
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
What to Do
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the garlic, oregano, oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper; mix well. Add the chicken breasts and marinate, covered in the refrigerator, for 3 to 5 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 8 to 10 minutes, until no pink remains and the juices run clear, turning halfway through the grilling.
Notes
To give it even more Greek flavor, top it with sliced black olives and/or some crumbled Feta cheese just before serving.
