Americans love to barbecue and we love chicken. Here's a "honey" of a way to combine both passions, with down-home-tasting, quick-cooking chicken breasts.
What You'll Need
- 6 to 8 chicken breast halves, (not skinless and boneless)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
What to Do
- Preheat a barbecue grill. Place the chicken breast halves on the grill and cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until no pink remains.
- Meanwhile, in a medium-sized bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, then brush over the cooked chicken. Grill the chicken for 5 minutes more.
- Makes 1 cup of sauce.
Notes
You might want to give this a little more snap by adding some chopped scallions to the honey glaze.
