How can I safely chop the chocolate????

Forget chopping the chocolate, just use the mini chocolate chips!!!

triple the chocolate by adding a small box of chocolate instant pudding mix.and use bread flour to make a softer cookie

I just made these. They really are not bad and if you just love the taste of dark chocolate, you will probably really love these. My family however is not a real fan of bitter dark chocolate. I would most certainly say that the flavor of these is more geared to adults than young children. The semi-sweet chocolate would most likely be a tad overwelming for young children.

Do you use all purpose flour or self rising flour ???

The recipe calls for all-purpose flour.

Look super good. Will try them.
