    What You'll Need

    • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
    • 2 tablespoons Italian breadcrumbs
    • 1 teaspoon ground sage
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    What to Do

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray.
    2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, onion, garlic, bell pepper, bread crumbs, sage, salt and black pepper; mix well.  Form mixture into 12 balls and place on baking sheet.
    3.  Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until no longer pink in center.  Serve immediately.
