Summer Picnic Salad

For that summertime taste anytime, try this colorful sparkler. Let's face it, cucumbers and tomatoes always say "summer."
What You'll Need
- 2 cucumbers, sliced (see Note)
- 12 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
What to Do
- In a large bowl, combine cucumber slices and tomatoes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, oregano, onion salt, pepper, and garlic powder; add mayonnaise mixture to vegetables and toss.
- Serve immediately, or store in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Notes
I like to leave some of the peel on the cucumbers for added color; I just wash them well, then remove strips of peel. You can remove the entire peel, if you prefer.
